Tuition & Affordability

Blazing Star aims to make quality self-directed education in a communal learning environment affordable to all families, livability to its staff, and sustainability to all community members. We offer a tiered tuition based on household income. If the following tuition tiers leave Blazing Star inaccessible to your family, please reach out to see if we can accommodate a fee reduction.

For the 2024-2025 school year, our full-time tuition is between $13,000 - $3,000. Part-time students are pro-rated depending on how many days a week they are enrolled.

We offer the ability to pay for the whole school year up front with a 10% fee reduction; twice a year with a 5% fee reduction, or broken into 9 monthly installments.

Please use the total income from all households that support your child to determine your tuition. For your convenience, tuition will be broken up into 9 monthly payments. We also understand that every family’s financial situation is unique, so if the following tuition still feels unattainable to you, please call to discuss.

Tuition Guide (full time):
$120,000+ : $13,000/year tuition

$45,000 - $120,000: $8,000

<$45,000: $3,000/year tuition

Sibling Discount:

As part of our commitment to making Blazing Star possible for families, we offer a 10% tuition reduction for siblings.

Enrollment Fee:

There will be a $100 non-refundable enrollment fee per family at the time of enrollment, which will be applied to the final month’s tuition payment in May.
